How to identify if an LED strip light is
waterproof?

• Go through the product details and check the
  level of waterproofing. It is divided into three
  categories i.e.
• Non-waterproof
• Semi- Waterproof
• Fully waterproof

How many types of Waterproof LED Strip Light?
There are two types of waterproof strip lights

• IP65 rated
• It is a semi-waterproof LED strip light that can
  sustain a splash means you can wash it by putting
  it under the water but cannot submerge it
  entirely in the water.
• IP68 rated
• It is fully waterproof LED Strip Light as the
  waterproofing level is higher to be submerged in
  water for a long duration. The waterproofing is
  also protected from any damage like dust,
  moisture, or rain.

When do we need waterproof LED strip light?

• It depends where you install it! If you want to
  install it in your kitchen, bathroom, or other
  places where there is a chance of water splash,
  you should purchase strip lights with IP65 rated.
  IP67 or IP68 rated LED strip light is not
  required until and

unless you need to submerge the light frequently
in the water as it is fully-waterproof. IP67 and
IP68 rated is rarely used for the indoors

• Suppose you want to immerse the light directly
  inside the water by installing it in places like
  swimming pools, fish tanks, or other exposed
  outdoor areas. In this case, you need to install
  IP67 and IP68 strip light.
