• Primary Education is the most basic form of
  education for a child some parents start
  thinking, from the time a child is born on what
  kind of education will be best suited for their
  children. However, most of the times,
  pre-planning does not work as the child's
  aptitude is not known and parents make the first
  mistake of actually getting them into the wrong
  school.
• Thinking about a child's future is good but over
  thinking about it would land both the child and
  parents in a soup. It does not matter if children
  are in the primary or secondary section they have
  to compete with other students at all levels of
  competency. This is the reason proper planning
  has to be done to ensure that your child gets
  wholesome education right from the beginning.
  This can only be done if parents put their
  children in schools with a good curriculum.

The primary curriculum plays a very important
role in the all round development of a child, as
the most basic knowledge is imparted at this
level of education. Primary education is
compulsory in most parts of the world as it sets
a platform for the pupils to gain knowledge of
basic literacy in science, mathematics, social
sciences, and other subjects. Parents should take
note of the medium of the language used for
teaching the subjects, as English is a wide
spread language that is use all over the world to
impart education at all levels. Parents have to
take care of various procedures required to get
their child into the best primary school, viz the
time of application- if the time of application
exceeds above a certain point, schools do not
allow students to be permitted and this could
lead to loss of one year so do not take anything
for granted and be clear about all the
procedures.

The criterion for admission differs from school
to school, as the core curriculum for each one of
them is different. With the explosion of
population all around the world, it is difficult
to get students in the preferred primary school
of choice. In this case, there are waiting lists
based on a criterion put forth by the schools
such as preferences given to students whose
parents are teachers in the same school, students
with disability, students with high merit, etc.
As there are times when parents actually run
behind schools that are completely out of their
reach it might not fit the profile for the
child.
