Introduction
Alcohol abuse or alcoholism is one of the most
common diseases globally. Particularly, America
has this drinking problem majorly. Millions of
Americans grapple with alcohol addiction as
alcohol is legal and easily available. There are
various levels of drinking, some are holiday
drinkers and other binge drink. Long-term use of
alcohol affects ones physical, mental, social
and spiritual well being. As a result, the
victims career and family relationships are
ruined. Excessive use of alcohol causes
irreversible damage to vital organs such as the
liver, heart, and brain which can be fatal. It
is difficult to know whether a person is having a
drinking problem or not. Even the drinker
hesitates to tell that he or she is having a
drinking problem. They also have a problem of
stealing things or money in order to purchase
alcohol or spend their total earning and savings
for their addiction activity. However, there are
some typical habits the drinker possess to
identify with the drinking problem. The warning
signs and symptoms can be both physical mental.
When you found out that you loved ones are more
addiction to any kind of addictions, try to
console them, help them to come out of the
situation and research on why they are doing so
and try to keep them away from the people who
enkindle them to indulge in such kind of activity.
Alcohol Abuse
It affects the daily activity of the addicts,
because of being sick and hungover. They cant
avoid drinking in despite situations like driving
or something that would risk. The person will
drink despite knowing he or she will be driving,
boating or doing something else that would be
risky when impaired.

  • There are memory lapses or blackouts.
  • There are so much prone to accidents when they
    are drunk.
  • A person may have a drinking problem if they have
    the following
  • Is relapsing often Being isolated
  • Tried cold turkey and having withdrawal symptoms
    Not stable and stammered speech
  • Having extreme mood swings Hungover even when
not drunk Blackouts and short-term memory loss
    Feeling irritated and nervous
  • If you found out about these signs and symptoms,
kindly have a short talk with them to know their
mentality on things and reasons behind it. Here
in this below content of the blog, we are going
to brief about the serious signs of those who
have a high level of alcohol consumption.
  • If you or your loved one are noticing changes in
the consumption of alcohol, it is imperative to
check for these serious signs. If you find
difficult to abstain from alcohol and need help,
    check out
  • Isolated Drinking
  • Isolating is the first sign to know whether a
person is having a drinking problem. There is
much difference in drinking alone and couple
drinking at a party. A person drinking alone
could have serious emotional stress and
depression. Isolated drinkers often drink alone
    due to trauma, psychological problems,
frustration, and abandonment. The person ignores
being with family friends and often finds
excuses for being alone. This type of drinker
might have a co-occurring disorder and should
consider seeking a rehab center to quit the
drinking problem. Alcohol abuse and mental
illness are difficult to treat and it requires
    dual-diagnosis treatment to overcome addiction.
  • These isolated drinkers were easy to identify,
but they soon become addicted to the maximum
level in a very short time. If they are alone
they will have the tendency to drink again to
avoid the silence and loneliness surrounded by
them. They surely need some advice and should
preach them the importance of family and being
with a group, who beautiful their life is and
what is spoiling their health. If the isolated
drinking prolongs for a long time, it may
increase the number of times they are consuming
the alcohol and they will always feel hungover
and spoils their mental health, which leads to
    many levels of disorders.
  • Drinking First In The Morning

3
Binge drinking is consuming a large quantity of
alcohol in a single session. It is not
recommended to drink more than 2 drinks per day.
Binge drinking is more prevalent in the US and
90 of youngsters binge drink. This type of
drinking brings a persons blood alcohol
concentration (BAC) to 0.08 grams percent or
above. Binge drinking causes severe health
problem which causes alcohol poisoning.
Moreover, binge drinking causes liver cirrhosis,
cancer, stroke, alcoholic hepatitis, and
cardiovascular diseases. It has been also noted
that people earning high-income binge drink
more. When a person binge drinks daily, the
level of alcohol in his blood remains the same
and it dominates more. When this state occurs,
these people will automatically lose their level
of ability in speech, increased mental illness
and have many psychological issues. When they
drink more amount of alcohol in a single
stretch, they become more resistant to that level
and this may lead to increase their daily
drinking level and even they will practice a
habit of drinking throughout the day. When you
find your loved one suffering from these kinds of
addiction, try to help them with all the
positivities you have when you feel you need some
external help to handle the situation, try to get
help from some addiction recovery experts to
bring back your loved one into normal life.
4. Increased Tolerance To Alcohol
Constant drinking of alcohol increases tolerance.
When alcohol tolerance increases the person needs
to drink more to get the buzz feeling. This
increases the risk of alcohol dependency and
addiction. They set a new target and they
practice drinking up to that once they become
more resistant to that level, they again increase
it and this process goes on. At last in a very
short time, they will have an increased alcohol
tolerance. This has many ill effects over our
body and causes organ damage, raises the
toxicity of other drugs and hampers the working
mechanism of medications, makes them prone to
many health issues. They also have a mental
illness which is the most important one to be
treated first. If you are a heavy drinker or
moderate drinker it is always important to check
and keep track of the quantity of alcohol you
consume. If you feel you are consuming more
alcohol and you cant control having it
increased daily or in a particular time lapse,
try to get help from your loved ones instead of
trapping inside a bad situation and losing your
life and health. Addiction treatment or recovery
centers near you can help you in giving hand to
overcome your level of addiction to alcohol.
5. Drinking If Feeling Sad Or Depressed
Many people indulge in drinking to cope with
depression and stress. People find temporary
relief from their sadness and seek alcohol
whenever they feel sad. By continuing this
behavior, the brains chemistry is altered and it
causes further mental illness. This kind of
drinkers are likely to develop a co-occurring
disorder and should approach a rehabilitation
center to get cured. Mental illness alcoholism
severely affect a persons personal
professional life. Try to be away from the
situations, places or things which is making you
feel bad and avoid peoples who were the reasons
for you to feel very low and depressed. Try to
stay on the positive note, learn a positive quote
daily, indulge in regular exercises, yoga, have
good healthy food, reading books, listening to
positive music. When you are feeling alone, try
to step out and admire nature, try to pursue your
ambition and make yourself more occupied with
your roles and responsibilities.
Bottom Line
If you or your loved one are noticing changes in
their behavior or feeling lonely, try to sit and
talk with them. When are in mood swings, they
have the highest possibility to get into
addiction. It is imperative to check for these
serious signs and give them the initial advice
and recovery treatments, to have more positivity
in their life. If you find difficult to abstain
