Uk Spouse Visa Refusal Appeal
  • A spouse visa allows a person to enter
the UK to live with his or her spouse assuming
their spouse is already settled in the UK or is a
    British citizen.
  • But what happens if your application is
refused? In this article, we outline why marriage
visa applications can lead to refusal, and
provide advice on what you can do to appeal the
    decision.
  • UK spouse visa applicants need to fulfill
certain requirements in order to qualify, such as
being legally married, at least 18 years of
age, having suitable accommodation in the UK and
    satisfying the necessary English language
    requirements.

Naturalization as a British Citizen
  • Naturalisation as a British Citizen,
becoming a British citizen is known as British
naturalisation. A citizen or a national of
another country can apply for a visa for entry in
the UK in several ways. If the candidate was
issued a British passport on or after 1st January
1983, they are considered to be a British
    citizen.
  • You can apply for UK citizenship by
naturalisation after you have lived as a resident
in the UK for 5 years. This is reduced to 3 years
of residence or if youre in a civil partnership
with or married to a British citizen.
  • After your British naturalisation
application has been approved, you will receive
an invitation to attend a Citizenship ceremony,
at which youll be given your Certificate of
Naturalisation. You can then apply for a British
passport. This is usually processed within six
weeks, although the Home Office may need to
interview you while processing your UK
    naturalisation application.

EU Settlement Scheme
  • EU settlement scheme is available to EEA
Nationals and their families. Moving to the new
Settled status scheme will grant people
Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) and Leave to
Remain (LTR). If the EU national have lived in
the UK for a period of 5 years or more and has
exercised their treaty rights in the UK they are
likely to be granted ILR.The applications are
generally done through phones and require your
passport and the evidence of your presence in
the UK for 5 years and your NI number.

Indefinite Leave to Remain
  • Indefinite Leave to Remain gives you
permission to live and work in the UK. An
Indefinite Leave to Remain visa - also known as
ILR or Permanent Residence - is the last step for
any non-UK national or citizen to fulfill if they
want to become eligible to apply for British
    citizenship.
  • When applying for Indefinite Leave to
Remain on your current leave or visa, there might
be the option of obtaining ILR status under the
same day service. To check whether youre
eligible for the same day, premium process and
the next available date you can submit an ILR
    application, contact us today.

10 Year Long Residence Documents Required
  • 10 Year Long Residence Documents Required
for applying Long Residence Visa. Family members
or dependents may also be eligible for a Long
Residence ILR visa. All applications must be made
individually. Under UK immigration law, a
dependent is either a partner or a child who is
under the age of 18. If a child is over the age
of 18 they will have to apply separately. If they
are not eligible to do so, they may have to leave
the United Kingdom. If a child has lived in the
UK for over 7 years, they may be able to apply to
remain depending on personal circumstances and
prove that it is not reasonable for the child to
    go outside the UK.
