My name is Eboni Allen, and I am a
self-proclaimed writer. Written word was my first
best friend. In hindsight that sounds cute, and
maybe even a little pretentious, but I can assure
you that, at the time, it was neither. In all
transparency, Ive never quite felt like I truly
understood people, or like they really understood
me for that matter. Books get me though, and I
them! As long as Ive been able to read, Ive had
my head in a book. No exaggeration, all of my
free time growing up was spent reading or writing.
