panel for oil painting on a copper composite
panel, consisting of one copper veneer and an
aluminum veneer laminated to both sides of a
black polyethylene core. This panel is 4mm thick
and is available in sizes from 5 x 7 to 24 x 30
inches. This panel has a natural or mill finish.

Artefex Backing Board has everything needed to
protect your paintings on canvas. Included in the
kit are a plastic board, pH-buffered matboard,
foam stripping, and noncorrosive cup washers and
screws. All paintings on canvas should have
backing boards as a preventive conservation
measure.
