What is Machine Learning

• Machine learning is an application of artificial
  intelligence.
• It provides the ability to systems to
  automatically learn and improve from experience,
  without being explicitly programmed.
• The focus of machine learning is on development
  of computer programs that can access data and
  learn from it themselves.
• The goal is to minimize human interference.

Machine Learning Methods

• Supervised algorithms these algorithms can
  apply what has been learned in the past, to new
  data using labeled examples to predict future
  events.
• Unsupervised algorithms these are used when the
  information used to train the system is neither
  labeled nor classified.
• Semi-supervised algorithms - fall somewhere in
  between supervised and unsupervised learning,
  since they use both labeled and unlabeled data
  for training typically a small amount of
  labeled data and a large amount of unlabeled
  data.
• Reinforcement algorithm - This method allows
  machines and software agents to automatically
  determine the ideal behavior within a specific
  context in order to maximize its performance.

  backend systems.
• Implementing custom machine learning code.
• Analyzing data and coming up with use cases.

• According to a report from job site Indeed,
  machine learning engineer is the best job of 2019
  due to growing demand and high salaries.
• The career boasts a current average salary of
  146,085 with a growth rate of 344 percent in
  2018.
• Indeed set out to find the top 25 jobs for 2019
  in their report and nine of them are comprised of
  tech roles.
• AI and Machine Learning job postings on Indeed
  rose 29.10 over the last year between May 2018
  and May 2019.
