Title: HOW TO STOP THEFT AT EVENTS

1
HOW TO STOP THEFT AT EVENTS
2
  • There are various recorded cases of theft from
buildings in the past years, its clear that
security is a major concern these days. Companies
and Organizations are creating event larger than
ever before, and we all are getting around the
news of theft thats going on in these events.
So, to keep the surroundings and environment safe
and secure from theft, we need to have security
services and technology that will be reliable and
    effective.

3
RISKS ASSESSMENT
  • It doesnt matter how small or big your event
will going to be there are always risks of theft.
Before we start to think of arrangements, we must
first check what the risks assessments are and
highlight the main concerns. Where are the most
valuable items? Whats easy to steal? Are there
any areas which may become too crowded? Never
start your preparations without a thorough
    examination of the risks factors.

4
IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM
  • The best way to assure safety is by letting only
trusted people to the event, and this is only
possible by the identification system, which can
be automated or can run by a staff. Either way,
purchasing an ID scanner which can easily be
connected to the database, is a quick and
reliable way of keeping out any unwanted guest.

5
ALARMS
  • There are different types of alarms which are
often used at events whether large or small, such
as sensor alarms and intruder alarms. Intruder
alarms come in different forms. For example,
bells-only alarms are alarms which makes a noise,
hence the name. These alarms are very cheap,
which makes them most suitable for small type
events. On the other hand, the monitored alarm
might be more appropriate for big events or
venue. These systems can send automated alerts
directly to the security, for example. Both are
also great because they can easily be used
together with the speakers in your sound system
and TV displays, which could then be used to set
a warning signal to the people. Remember, the
first and foremost function of an alarm should
always be to keep people safe from harms way.

SURVEILLANCE WATCH
  • Surveillance is the final part that you can
employ to determine any potential thieves??and
catch them if they do steal anything. One of the
most common mistakes made when installing cameras
is to hide them entirely. While this may succeed
in recording, it completely removes the factor,
which could stop the crime from occurring in the
    first place.
  • Again, the work of security cameras can increase
exponentially if theyre merging with the other
devices you already have. For example, TV
displays could show the live CCTV feed, or a
speaker system could be used as and connect if
there is any suspicious behavior. When used
    intelligently, surveillance can greatly reduce
the risk of theft in the first place.

7
  • Theft is one of the most difficult things to
prevent, often because its so difficult to
secure everything. However, using these measures
can make your job a lot easier, and can save you
a lot of money and time in the long run. There is
a rise in Security Guards in California and in
other parts of the world because of the rise in
crime rate. There is a crime almost every minute
and to stop that we should take these measures.
