What is Restorative Dentistry
The term "Restorative Dentistry" is the
integrated management of oral health problems and
restoring of the mouth to a functional and
esthetic state and focused on restoring the
health and function of your smile following tooth
damage, tooth decay, or tooth loss.

types of Restorative Dentistry
  • Dental Implant- . A dental implant is an
artificial tooth root placed into your jaw as a
replacement of the lost one. There are two types
of dental implants. The most common dental
implant is called Endosteal which includes screws
and blades surgically placed into your jawbone to
hold a prosthetic tooth. The second type of
dental implants is called subperiosteal that is
placed on top of the jaw. After a dental implant
operation, you will now have a new tooth that
requires the same care like your natural teeth.
  • Porcelain Crowns and Bridges- A dental crown is
very helpful if you have broken tooth. Foreign
objects may enter your broken tooth and will
cause a toothache. Having a broken tooth means
the possibility of bacteria infesting on it is
great. Here we look and examine your teeth with
care and professionalism to make sure we give you
the right service and that you will be suffering
no more pains. Dental Bridge A dental bridge is
effective when you are planning to improve your
ability to chew by treating your missing teeth.
Most often, dental bridges are made of porcelain
that fills the gaps left by missing teeth. It
enhances the supporting structures of your gum
line. Dental bridges are very durable and
    resilient.
  • Porcelain Veneers- In dentistry, a veneer is a
layer of material placed over a tooth, veneers
improve the aesthetics of a smile and/or protect
the tooth's surface from damage. Removable
Implant Over-Denture This offers stability and
convenience. New teeth are attached to two or
more dental implants. The best thing about this
is there is no need for dental adhesive.  Fixed
Implant-Supported Bridges This is a durable
solution for patients who want a more natural
looking denture replacement. It is attached on
four or more dental implants and it stimulated
    bone maintenance.
  • Implants Supported Dentures- Implant supported
dentures, which is also referred as anchored
dentures, uses an attachment to provide a more
stabilized and secure fit than the traditional
dentures. The implant supported dentures snaps
into place instead of resting on the gums. It is
attached to the dental implants which have been
    fused to the jawbone.

Advantages of Restorative Dentistry
  • Improving Your Self-Confidence- Missing and
Broken Teeth might effect self confidence. .
Well, thanks to restorative dentistry, you can
get your smile back and avoid getting depressed.
  • Eating Properly- If your teeth are damaged,
you might have some issues eating well. If youre
biting into a fresh apple or chewing steak are
things you need to completely avoid. If you have
severe damage or tooth decay, you might avoid
eating in front of other people altogether.
  • No health Issues- Decaying teeth can cause gum
disease and numerous other health issues. For
instance, they have been associated with oral
cancer or heart disease. With restorative
dentistry, you can avoid contracting any of these
    health issues.
  • Preventing Shifting Teeth- If there is one or
more teeth missing, the rest begin shifting.
Eventually, the hole is filled with leaning and
misaligned teeth. Restorative dentistry is one
way to replace missing teeth and prevent shifting
    teeth.
  • Better Than The Traditional Teeth Replacement
    Methods- Traditionally, people use prosthetic
dentures to replace any missing teeth. Well, they
are quite uncomfortable and they often move
around. With the various advancements in the
dental industry, newer technologies have come up
such as dental implants. These appear like your
natural teeth, are permanent and will not
interfere with your speech or eating habits
  •  Better Smile- If youve been hiding your smile
because of the damaged or missing teeth, dont
worry about it . Restorative dentistry can
replace your missing teeth and since they appear
like the original teeth, none would recognize you
    .
