• Facebook is pushing groups and discussion pages
  on everyones feed lately, rather than about
  checking out photos of your uncles third
  cousins children, which happen to be on your
  friend list for no other purpose than that.

• The opt-in dating app that Facebook has been
  testing in a select few countries is launching in
  14 more Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Guyana,
  Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Laos, Malaysia,
  Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam and Suriname.

mORE SECURED AND ENCRYPTED

• Facebook making chats more and more private with
  this year and will remain more underscored
  towards community, but your chats and private
  video calls will now be available with end-to-end
  encryption, just as they are in the case
  of Whatsapp.

ADDITION OF AMAZING CAMERA FEATURES

• Facebook also tipped a new Instagram camera
  design with Create Mode, which Facebook says
  "will make it simpler to use popular creative
  tools like effects and interactive stickers, so
  you can express yourself more freely.

No More Instagram Like counts

• Facebook F8 update told that Instagram is going
  to go a step further, by hiding likes count from
  followers completely, so you can focus on the
  photos and videos you share, not how many likes
  they get.

 Business for Influencers

• Buying the clothes that your favorite influencer
  is sporting will get a lot easier. You'll soon be
  able to shop on Instagram without leaving the
  app. Over the next few weeks, Instagram
  will test a feature that lets you buy directly
  from the app with select influencers and brands.

Business Catalogue

• The big new feature on Whatsapp is called
  Product Catalogues. Businesses can show users
  what they sell so people can browse items. Then,
  they can send and receive money to buy goods.
  Facebook is already testing this in India with
  more than a million users.
