Check out the Occupation List

• Prior to applying for PR Visa, one must check
  whether their occupation is listed in the Skilled
  Occupation List (SOL), released by Department of
  Immigration and Border Protection, Australia. For
  Subclass 189, you choose occupation from SOL
  Australia and for Subclass 190, you choose from
  combined List of eligible skilled occupations.

Australia Points System and Eligibility

• Australia provides assorting immigration pathway
  Visa Subclass 189, 190, and 489 to annex
  permanent residency of Australia. Points are
  calculated based on factors such as Age,
  educational qualifications, employment, language
  proficiency and other factors. You must score a
  minimum of 65 points.

Assessment of your Skills

• Get your employment documents reviewed by an
  Australian regulatory authority, for you to meet
  the eligibility requirements of the Australian
  Department of Immigration and Citizenship.
  Different occupations have separate assessing
  authorities that need to be taken care off while
  applying for Australia PR Visa.

Proficiency in Language

• To prove your proficiency in the English language
  and get your scores visibly improved, you can
  undertake the IELTS or PTE examination, and based
  on your band scores you are awarded points. Exam
  tests you from all four corners i.e. Speaking,
  Reading, Writing and Listening. A minimum of 6
  band in each of the above sections is must to
  apply for Australia PR.

Submission of EOI online

• Once the things are sorted, submission of
  Expression of Interest (EOI) via SkillSelect
  system online is done. Give all your minutiae
  like Age, Education, language proficiency,
  experience, etc.

Invitation to Apply

• Skill Select, based on your submissions, will
  tally your score and if you get a good score
  which is high enough, you will receive an
  Invitation to Apply (ITA) from the Australian
  Department of Immigration. Youll be allocated a
  window of 60 days to apply for your visa.

Medical and Character Certifications

• As a part of the Australia PR Process you must
  submit medical and character certificate to
  certify that you are medically fit and of a
  morally fit disposition. For this, you need to
  undergo a medical examination which will be
  conducted by a local doctor employed by the
  Embassy of Australia.
