Procedure

• First of all, open the Start menu.

• If you purchase your McAfee product from the
  online source means by going to mcafee.com/activat
  e, then you will need to go to your email.
• You are going to get a McAfee order confirmation
  email in your registered email address.
• Now you have to open that email and highlight
  your product key.
• Then tap Ctrl C keys simultaneously.
• After that, open the McAfee program.
• Here, you will just have to paste the McAfee
  product activation key in the activation prompt.
• And tap on the Activate option.
• When a prompt appears alerting you to activate
  your McAfee product, you then need to tap on it.

• If you have purchased the McAfee antivirus
  product from a retail store, you will then need
  to activate the code found on the McAfee retail
  card.
• Then you will find the product activation key
  printed on the back side of your retail card.
  Remember that the card is provided with the
  installation kit.
• You first need to copy the activation code.
• After that open the McAfee activation link which
  is given on the retail card.
• Then, you have to select your nation and language
  of preference.
• Now, you have to enter the registration number of
  your McAfee product.
• And submit the product activation code.
• Tap on Submit.
• Finally, you just need to tap on the Verify
  option, and your McAfee Antivirus is now all set
  to use.
