• Firstly, you need to sign on to the McAfee
  account.
• After that, click on My Account tab.
• Select Subscriptions from the menu.
• Go to McAfee Subscription and select Add Device.
• Now, choose the kind of device.
• Hit the Download button.
• Choose the McAfee software you wish to install.
• Once more, click on the Download button.
• Now, review the terms of the agreement.
• Click on Accept.
• Copy the serial number.
• Hit the download button.
• Open the setup file.
• Follow the instructions given on the screen.

• Launch the web browser.
• Visit the URL printed on the retail card, such
  as www.mcafee.com/activate.
• Now, from the drop-down choose the country.
• After that, choose the language.
• Make sure that the region is right.
• Now, you need to input the activation code
  printed on the retail card.
• After that, key in the email address.
• Hit the Submit button.
• When the prompt appears, verify that the email
  address is right.
• If the email address is incorrect, the hit the
  Edit option to go back to the former page.
• Type the right email address.
• Hit the Verify button.
• You have successfully activated your McAfee
  product.
