Ingredients
- Golden Caster Sugar
- Butter
- Egg
- Raising Flour
- Cocoa Powder
- Baking Powder
- Vanilla Extract
- Milk
- For the Cake
- For the Buttercream

Method
- Heat oven to 190/170C fan/gas Butter the base and
sides of two 20cm round sandwich tins and line
the base with baking parchment. - In a large bowl beat together 200g golden custard
sugar, 200g softened unsalted butter, 4 large
eggs, self raising flour,cocoa powder, baking
powder, vanilla extract, milk and a pinch of
salt. - Divide the mixture between the prepare tins.
Baked for 20 mins or until a skewer inserted
into the center of the cake comes out clean.
