What is the significance of Pooja Thali on Rakhi?

• Rakhi is not complete with the Pooja Set. Thali
  that is used for the aarti is one of the major
  elements of the festival.
• These sets are carefully selected with the rakhis
  matching to the pooja thali to give it a more
  aesthetic look.

What are the main elements?

• On the day of Raksha Bandhan, the family members
  wake up early to get ready with the preparations
  for the day. By lighting the diyas the rituals
  for this holy day begins.
• The Rakhi Thali is prepared by placing the Diya
  for doing aarti, roli, and Akshat to put tilak on
  the brothers forehead. The roli and Akshat are
  either placed on decorated katories or on betel
  leaves.
• The rakhis are always kept in the pair or are
  accompanied with moli or kalawa. The thali is not
  complete without sweets or dry fruits that are
  fed by the sisters to brothers after tying the
  rakhi.
• The sister prays for her brothers good health
  and wellness and in return the brother gives
  gifts for his sister and vows to protect her in
  every step of her life. Once the thali is set,
  the sister does aarti with the diya lit.
