Stereoscopic Filmmaking
  • We live in a three-dimensional world.
  • A renewal of stereoscopic cinematography is
attempting to bring dimension to life on the
    screen.
  • With stereoscopic filmmaking comes a completely
new set of creative techniques, rules and editing
    practices.

3D Stereoscopic Filmmaking
  • 3D stereoscopic filmmaking is a technique for
creating or improving the illusion of depth in
the image using stereopsis for binocular vision.
  • Stereoscopy creates the illusion of the
three-dimensional depth from two given sets of
    two-dimensional images.

5
  • 3D Stereoscopic filmmaking is produced by
creating two views of the same screen using two
separate cameras, slightly offset to simulate
distance between the eyes of watchers.
  • By Projecting these image simultaneously through
a particular system, with the audience wearing
tinted glasses these views are sent to the
appropriate left and right eyes where brain fuses
images together giving the viewer a strong
    illusion of depth.

6
  • Any stereoscopic image is called a stereogram.
  • This new experience is drawing audiences to see
many Bollywood and Hollywood films made in
    stereoscopic 3D.

7
Method of Stereoscopic
  • Most stereoscopic methods present two offset
images separately to the left and right eye of
    the watcher.
  • These two-dimensional images are then combined in
the brain to give the perception of 3D depth.

8
  • This technique is distinguished from 3D displays
that display an image in three full dimensions,
allowing the watcher to increase information
about the 3-dimensional objects being displayed
    by eye and head movements.
  • To Learn this course in depth and on high-level
one should join animation training institute.
