  • Animal behavior is the scientific study of the
    wild and wonderful ways in which animal interact
    with each other, with other living beings and
    with the environment.

Animal Behavior Training

    pets where you can specialize in the area of
    animal behavior, outreach programs as well as
    therapy and psychology. The general areas of work
    where you will find yourself into if you are
    pursuing a career with animals will include
    agriculture and natural resources, education,
    environmental sciences, fisheries and wildlife
    sciences, animal welfare and environmental law,
    psychology, science technology and veterinary
    medicine. A career with animals promises a lot of
    exciting prospects and challenges. If you feel

Applied Animal Behavior Research
  • ACAS is enthusiastic about the empirical research
    work that is being done by its students and facult
    y, and encourage them to present their findings
    at educational conferences, both domestically and
    globally, and to the editors of peer-reviewed
    scientific journals so that our college
    community can make a contribution to the
    scientific literature as it pertains to the
    under-researched areas of companion animal
    science, behavior and welfare. Our students have,
    thus far, produced some excellent and useful
    thesis studies and continue to do so each
