Vitra Eames Lounge Chair Ottoman by Charles
Ray Eames for Vitra. An iconic piece from Ray and
Charles Eames that has and will forever continue
to stand the test of time. The Vitra Eames
Lounge Chair and Ottoman is a design classic that
will remain timeless. Designed by Charles and Ray
Eames for the Herman Miller furniture company and
manufactured under licence by Vitra since 1957.
The Lounge Chair Ottoman are ideal for both
residential and contract interiors, adding a
touch of class to the room. Charles Ray's aim
for the Lounge chair was to combine utmost
comfort using only high-end materials and
high-quality finishing. The chair conveys the
impression of a well used baseball glove,
inviting the user to sit back and relax. The
Ottoman provides even further relaxed comfort.

Specifications

• Seat and back Moulded plywood, different face
  veneers. Standard version in cherry, santos
  palisander (certified sustainability) or walnut
  with a black pigmented finish. White version
  walnut with a white pigmented finish. Black
  version ash with a black lacquer finish.
• Upholstery/cover Covers in Premium or Grand
  leather, black version only in Premium leather.
• Armrests Attached to the seat and back shells
  with shock mounts (bonded rubber and metal
  connectors).
• Base Five-star swivel base or four-star
  non-swivel base and back braces in die-cast
  aluminium.
• Glides All bases fitted with hard glides for
  carpet, felt glides optionally available for hard
  floors.
