What is a Dialer?

• A dialer is an outbound dialling software used by
  call centers to make track calls
  automatically. Dialers are designed to improve
  the efficiency of agents by dialing from the list
  of uploaded numbers without human intervention.
  Dialer comes in different modes eg click to
  dial, progressive dialer, predictive dialer which
  can be configured as per the requirement of the
  campaign.

What is Click To Dial?

• Preview dialer, commonly known as Click to dial,
  enable agents to first view the available
  information about the customer. Then agent
  selects a number to dial so that the call is
  automatically dialed by the system. The records
  are then manually updated by the agent, after the
  call.

What is Predictive Dialer?

• Predictive dialer is an automatic dialing
  software that only connects agent to call after
  human response from the other end. Calls that
  result in ringing and receive any
  computerized/automated answer are immediately
  disconnected. This removes the wait time between
  calls and can improve agent productivity
  significantly.

What is Progressive Dialer?

• Once an agent indicated that they are ready for
  the call, information about the number is
  presented to them and the number is then dialed
  immediately. It makes calls one after the other
  and only when there is an agent free to answer
  the call.
