educational document like B.Tech certificate will
be authenticated from the Human Resource
Development of the state in India from where it
came . If your B.tech was issued from Gujarat
university, then authentication will be done by
the Gujarat HRD authorities. Next, it will go to
the MEA authorities, who will then verify the
content and then paste the apostille stamp on
your B.tech certificate . Thereafter, they will
sign and seal the document. This process is known
as MEA apostille. So, educational certificate
apostille process is completed.

Regarding non educational documents, your
certificate will be validated by the Home
Department of the state from where your got it.
If your Police Clearance Certificate was issued
from Delhi, then the Home Department of Delhi
will validate it. Then similar to educational
apostille process, MEA will accomplish the
apostille.

As for commercial certificates, verification of
the certificates is done from the Chamber of
Commerce of the concerned state in the beginning.
Thereafter MEA will carry out the apostille and
complete the process.
