Chromium Metal
Chromium Metal is produced by either
alumino-thermic process or electrolytic process.
In this process, the Chrome Oxide reacts with
Aluminum in a typical ratio of 1.61. The purity
of the Chrome metal can be enhanced by crushing,
briquetting, or through a vacuum process. The
typical Chrome content is 98.5-99.99. The
largest producers are Russia, China, Kazakhstan,
and Japan.
