What Is Print Media Advertising? The advertising
form in which physically printed advertisements
are present is known as print media. The common
example of print media advertising is present in
our daily life like newspaper, magazines,
companies brochure through which you can easily
contact a wide set of prospects and customers and
know what product and services they are
offering. With the fast trend of technology now
advertising agencies are taken the help of
digital media like doing advertising of their
business by sending text messages to a huge
number of mobile users, creating banner
advertising and also reaching customers through
social media, it fulfills the requirement to
reach a large number of target audiences. The use
of digital media has shown a breakdown by
lowering the cost that was used in traditional
print media because it is cutting the cost of
paper and huge printing machinery. But, again
there are a number of users that still rely on
print media because they do not have access to
digital media. They rely heavily on newspapers
because they provide them everyday news and its
within their reach. The advertising companies
have a wide variety to select different kinds of
newspaper like national, regional and sometime
local newspapers that are printed daily, weekly
and special editions are given on Sundays and
sometime monthly also. The benefit of having a
newspaper is that you can have a huge variety of
different contents that allows you to read about
almost everything. Newspapers includes a lot of
variety in topics, the topmost priority of every
reader is politics, some of them likes to review
the sports news, fashion geeks find new trends
news inside the newspaper, business persons can
find corporate news that is beneficial for their
own businesses. Newspaper contains all
international news also therefore you can find a
huge list of topics into a single newspaper. The
foremost benefit of print media is that
advertisers with low budget and less content can
also ask the newspaper agency to print their ads
inside the newspaper and all they have to do is
to buy a small space, they can even put the text
of their ads in newspaper. Small photographs,
missing complaints and much more can be added in
the requested space present in the newspaper.
They can even buy a big space area for having a
full page advertisement and can even spread it in
to two pages. Another famous form of print media
is magazines. A magazine provides advertisers
wide ranging choices of frequency and
distribution. The consumer magazine gives a huge
range of topics like hobbies, fashion trends,
local news, medical topics, current affairs,
cooking recipes and much more. Most of the trade
magazines and business magazines provide
information about precise industries, like
electronics or finance. Some magazines focus on
business areas while others cover their events
and functions. These are published sometime
weekly, monthly, and most of the time quarterly.
