  • Anxiety is a general term for several disorders
    that cause nervousness, fear, apprehension, and
    worrying. These disorders affect how we feel and
    behave and can cause physical symptoms. Anxiety
    disorders involve more than temporary worry or
    fear. For a person with an anxiety disorder, the
    anxiety does not go away and can get worse over
