About the Legend
An American poker pro, Phil Ivey has clinched ten
WSOP titles and is considered as one of the
legends of the game. He has also grabbed one
Poker Tour title and has set on nine of the final
tables there. The player is treated as the best
all-around player in the world and is regarded as
the Tiger Woods of poker.

History
Ivey started his journey competing with the
co-workers at his firm. In the year 2000, Ivey
defeated Amarillo Slim and grabbed his first WSOP
bracelet as well as and also became the first
person to defeat him at the heads-up at a WSOP
final table. 2002 was the best year of his life
when he acquired three WSOP titles and was
nicknamed as The Phenom. He has won 6 more
bracelets after that in his career since then The
American is currently settled on 2nd position
with 10 WSOP bracelets along with Doyle
Brunsonand Johny Chan. He is also beginning to
play poker online.

Iveys hobbies include Golf and has been on 3 rd
place in the first World Series of Golf. He runs
many charitable trusts and has donated 50,000 to
Empowered 2 Excel, a Las Vegas charity for
underprivileged children. The poker pro has also
founded two companies Ivey Poker, a poker app and
Ivey League, a poker training site.
