Title: Landscaping during winter

1
LANDSCAPING DURING WINTER
2
Landscape Forms
Modern landscapers are looking at the winter
with a new vision because after the summer is
gone, all that is left are forms like fences,
trees, hedges, etc. All the structures if placed
correctly can protect the home from snow build
up. Especially, big rocks are great for
landscaping. Any coloring or form design stays
all winter as rocks are good thermal storage
units and keep the snow away for long hours.

Lights
Lights can be a great addition to your
landscape. The stark skeletons of the trees can
be given a very good look with mini lights.
With the right type of light and color, you can
give not just the trees a new life but other
structures also can be given a new look. There
are some lights available which can be
programmed according to your wish.

Tree Forms
Not just the deciduous trees but vine type trees
such as corkscrew hazel and curly willow will
fit amazingly against the winter backdrop.
Their characteristics remain hidden in the
summer. Grape vines also work great.

Plan A Winter Landscaping
The best way to plan a winter landscaping is to
take note of the things you want to see during
winter. Maybe a ridge of rocks you want to see
in your landscape or you want to redesign your
patio. Another great way to decorate your
landscape is snow sculpture. So plan your winter
landscape wisely.
