Music Generally, music is a form of expressive
and audible communication produced as result of
both the singer and harmonized musical instrument
working together. The combination of singer and
the musical instrument is called music band.
Performing vocal or instrumental music, this band
is a group some musicians. We find a variety of
music now, which has been a boon today. In each
musical style, for the composition and sizes of
different groups, different norms have been
developed. For different music organizations,
these bands perform. It is an art whose medium
is sound, which looks delectable to our ears,
pleasurable, enjoyable and refreshing. The
sensual qualities of texture and timbre, pitch,
dynamics and rhythm are the common elements of
music.   Marching Band   The dance teams,
musicians or the color guards that while adding
marching to their performance play the marching
band show music with brass, instruments of
percussion or woodwinds, are termed as marching
band. Particular costumes are put on by them,
which consist of the symbols or name of the
organization they are from. The performance
function, style and size of the marching bands
differentiate them from each other. Usually, they
perform in parades outdoors but in some cases
they also perform in concerts which are indoor
programs applying the talents and tradition from
outside performance. In unique events like the
band competitions especially in the sporting
events, they perform.

In ancient times, troops of wandering musicians
performed at functions, celebrations and
festivals. The marching band is believed to
descend from this troop. After the evolution of
various military bands of states, the bands with
respective names as per the states came into
existence. Thus, for this reason the costumes
similar to the military uniforms are worn by the
marching bands.   Various types of marching
bands   Military bands This band is considered
as the first type of band by the historians.
Hardly the instrumentation differs from the brass
and percussion instruments. The music played is
in a continuous track to help the military group,
marching in straight lines to the rhythm and
tune.   Show Bands Sporting events offering
entertainment generally indulge the performance
of these bands.   Carnival Bands Usually in the
parades and sports competitions, these bands
participate. Instruments of brass and percussion
are used by them. Scramble bands Often including

Drum and Bugle corps style Along with the music,
marching of military type is followed by this
type of bands. They are divided into modern and
classic bands.   The incorporation of color guard
members and addition of dance lines are few
alterations that have occurred in marching bands.
Apart from the police organizations and football,
most of the music bands are linked with the
Americans in recent days.   Irrespective of the
type of band you are performing in, complete
dedication and hard work are important. These
types of bands can teach many things to a person
as they include patience and team work. If a
single member of the troop fails to perform well,
then the whole performance will suffer.
