Title: Important Stages in Dental Health

1
Important Stages in Dental Health
2
Two of the most vulnerable stages for our teeth
are when we are young and when pregnant. Due care
should be taken to maintain our dental health
during these stages.
3
Take care of your kids teeth
Kids teeth are most susceptible to infections
because of their unhealthy eating habits and
faulty dental routine. They should be taught
dental care at a young age for strong and healthy
teeth.
4
Make Oral Health Fun
There are tricks and tips to motivate your kids
to change your dental routine. These will help
make oral health fun.
5
Doing your Dental Routine Together
If you do the dental routine together with your
kids, it will introduce an element of fun. You
will both enjoy the activity together.
6
Have a fun activity after brushing
Ensure that brushing is not the last thing your
kids do before they go to bed. They should have
some fun activity to look forward to after
brushing. This will make them want to complete
the brushing and flossing activities and prepare
for the next.
7
Oral health and Pregnancy
Most women are unaware that their oral health is
affected during pregnancy. Hence it is vital that
you take extra care of your teeth during this
time.
8
Morning Sickness affects your teeth
You may have bad breath and feel uneasy due to
morning sickness. This will make you brush more
frequently. But frequent brushing damages your
enamel, making your teeth sensitive.
9
During pregnancy, you may have swollen gums
Your gums tend to swell during pregnancy. Swollen
gums lead to soreness in the mouth and bleeding
when you brush.
