Second method to regain access
If the password has been changed by the hacker or
locked out by the current system, Microsoft
temporarily locks the account if unusual login or
activity is noticed. So browse the Microsoft
Account Login Page. Tap the option Forgot my
Password. On recovery page select I think
someone else is using my Microsoft account and
tap Next. Provide your email address in the
first box and in the second box type the captcha
characters, if dont understand the characters
you can use the New button for the next set of
characters. Then to get the security code, select
the option on a backup contact number or email
linked to your account, and get the security
code. Enter the code and get directed to reset
password page.

In case phone number or email is not associated,
choose I dont have any of these. Enter the
email address which you are accessing or create
new Outlook.com account. Enter the code sent to
your email and tap Verify. Answer the prompted
questionnaire (related to your email ID)
carefully and click Submit. Wait for a response
within 24 hours a link to reset password will be
provided. So Reset password and get back to your
work.
