About SSC-CGL Exam
Staff Selection Commission is an organization
under government of India. SSC conducts Combined
Graduate Level Exam for the posts of Inspector in
IT/Central Excise/Dept of post,SI in CBI,
Assistant, Divisional Accountant, Auditor, UDC,
Junior Accountant,UDC etc. This exam is
conducted every year.

Eligibility
The candidate must have obtained degree through
Graduation from recognized university or
equivalent. The age of the candidate should be
minimum 18 years and maximum age limit should not
exceed 30 years. For some posts like Compiler
and Statistical Investigator Grade 2, additional
age limit is given.

Pattern
The Examination will be conducted in three tiers
as shown below

TIER 1 Objective Type Written Test Time duration 60 Minutes 0. 5 negative marks for each wrong answer.
TIER 2 Objective Type Written Test Time duration 120 Minutes for each paper There will be compulsory for all. Paper 3 afour papers. Paper 1 and 2 are nd 4 are based on the post.
TIER 3 Descriptive Paperin English/Hindi(Writing of Essay, Precis,Letter, Application etc.) of 100 Marks for 60 Minutes
TIER 4 Computer Proficiency Test/Typing Skill Test(for post of Assistant SectionOfficer in CSS MEA only)
