  • Udaipur is famously called the Venice of the
East and The City of Lakes. Udaipur, a city in
Rajasthan is a stunning location and has a rich
cultural background and a great history. There
are a number of places to visit near Udaipur that
make great day trips or longer side trips,
depending on how much time you have.
  • Doesnt have need to worry about whether you are
travelling in local or outstation, you can book a
cab easily. For travelling without any stress,
you will need to book the taxi some day before so
that you can get the best deals. If getting late,
it maybe that due to less cab availability, you
miss the good deal or the services. VNV Tours is
a known Udaipur Tour Operator, offering Udaipur
Tour Packages. We offer a full day Udaipur

important Udaipur Tourist Places includes City
    Palace, Jagdish Temple etc

Place to visit in Udaipur-
  •  City Palace
  • Surmounted by balconies, towers and cupolas
towering over the lake, the imposing City Palace
is Rajasthans largest palace, with a facade 244m
long and 30.4m high. Construction was begun in
1599 by Maharana Udai Singh II, the citys
founder, and it later became a conglomeration of
    structures (including 11 separate smaller
palaces) built and extended by various maharanas,
though it still manages to retain a surprising
    uniformity of design.

4
  • Fateh Sagar Lake
  • Fateh Sagar Lake is the second artificial lake of
Udaipur, the first being Jaisamand lake. Located
in the north of Lake Pichola, Fateh Sagar Lake
lies just besides the entrance to Moti Magri
Hill. Built in 1678 by Maharana Jai Singh, Fateh
Sagar Lake got its name from Maharana Fateh
Singh, who later made additions to it.

  • Dudh Talai
  • Contiguous to the beautiful Lake of Pichola, Dudh
Talai Lake is a dainty pond at the epicenter of
the Udaipur. We offer a full day Udaipur
Sightseeing Tour Packages covers all interesting
and important tourist spots includes City Palace,
    Jagdish Temple, Lake Pichola etc.

6
  • Sajjan Garh
  • Perched on top of a distant hill like a
    fairy-tale castle, this melancholy, neglected
    late-19th-century palace was constructed by
Maharana Sajjan Singh. Originally an astronomical
centre, it became a monsoon palace and hunting
    lodge.

7
  • Shilpgram
  • A crafts village west of Fateh Sagar, Shilpgram
was inaugurated by Rajiv Gandhi in 1989. Set in
dusty, rolling countryside, its contrived, but
remains interesting. There are 26 traditional
village houses from Rajasthan, Gujarat, Goa and
    Maharashtra, some with glittering mirrored
interiors, and craft exhibits. Best, though, are
    the excellent demonstrations by traditional
dancers and artisans, with groups ready to
perform as you approach (youll be expected to
proffer a tip if you stay to watch).
