Below are the steps on how to print index cards
from HP device

1. From 'In' and 'Out' tray of your printer, remove
   all the paper from both of them. From the device
   remove the top most tray i.e. the 'Out' tray. Now
   in the lower tray of the printer place about 30
   index cards in the 'In' tray.
2. In order to align the index cards on the right
   side of the device you can use a width adjuster.
   If right alignment done properly, the width
   adjuster will touch the left side of the index
   cards.

1. With the help of paper length adjuster align the
   length of printer tray. Then move the adjuster
   towards the index cards. The adjuster will touch
   the index card's top if performed properly. Now,
   put the 'Out' tray back into its place.
2. To let your device able to print, change the
   properties of the printer. From the desktop of
   your PC, go to Startgt Settingsgt Printers and then
   right click on your printer machine. Choose
   Properties and then select Paper or Set Up
   option. Depending upon the HP device model you
   are using, the names of the tab can be different.
   Select the size from paper size drop down. And
   then finally click OK.
3. For creating the index cards print the document
   from the program.
