TOP IMPERATIVE ATTRIBUTES OF THE LAND AND
PROPERTY AT KHAO YAI

• Pakchong is one of the most significant landmarks
  of Khao Yai in Thailand. The Pakchong land is
  situated between Mount Yai Tieng and Mount
  Khaoyai, almost 2 hours away from Bangkok, i.e.
  at least 170 kms and around 45 kms from Wang Num
  Keaw. Some of the major attractions in the land
  are the Panchong Market, Rancho Charnvee Country

• Suitability of the Land- a minimum of 1200 mm of
  rain per year with a wet tropical or a
  sub-tropical climate, with a soil type that is
  acidic red loam or mild saline with a solid
  mechanization and is highly suitable and
  appropriate as an alternate crop for sugarcane.
• Fertilization- the use of fertilizers is very
  little or no use at all for the growth and
  plantation of this grass. The government of
  Thailand has also made the costs of these
  fertilizers little less in order to form it as a
  cost effective. Top harvesting is done with
  application of little material.
• Plantation- the crop that is planted in this land
  can last for at least a period of 7 years even
  before the replacement of new crops.
• Growth- the average rate of growth for HiCross is
  approximately 1 meter per month and harvesting
  can take place once in every quarter.
• Cost of Production- on the basis of the Thai
  experience the actual production cost is
  maintained very low.
• Tolerance/ Water Requirements- the resistance of
  the crop that is grown in this land is very
  resistant to even excessive rains and there is
  water logging during the rainy seasons too. The
  minimum amount of water that is required for the
  purpose of irrigation for the growth and
  development of these crops here are sufficient.
• Energy Crop Potential- there is a total potential
  of the Napiere grass here is very high as during
  the harvesting season large amounts of crops are
  harvested and a good result is brought about.
