• Reason Behind These Error
• May be the Transaction log file is different from
  company file. The Transaction log file is the
  record of transactions done by company and is
  auto saved by this software. It is stored as
  .qbw, .tlg file. When the QBW file does not
  match with its TLG linked file. Then
  QuickBooks show error 6190, 816.
• When you try to update company file on different
  PC without upgrading its transaction file, it
  will show error i.e 6190, 816.
• Another reason can be when someone try to access
  company files in Single User Mode.

• Use QuickBooks File Doctor Tool-
• After Download and Install QuickBooks file
  doctor Run the tool and Important point is you
  must be logged in as Administrator.
• Select the optionBoth file damage and network
  connectivity.
• Now Enter your admin password.
• Next, select Yes if you are using company file
  on your server otherwise select No for
  Workstation.
• Now click on Proceed

• Fix the mismatch-
• Open the company folder.
• Now, search company file. The company file and
  transaction log file will have the same name but
  not same extension.
• Next, Rename your company file but Dont delete
  or edit extension.
• Do the same thing in transaction log file, rename
  it.
• Now exit the system now.
• Open your QuickBooks and try access it.

• Single Mode User Check-
• Make sure no other users are using Your company
  file.logged out all user of the Quickbooks Data
  file.
• Now, restart the PC.
• Now copy the data file to the computer.
• Again copy the data file from orignal location.
• Next, Sign into QuickBooks.
