  • Electronic Design Automation (EDA), basically
    referred to as Electronic Computer-Aided design (E
    CAD).
  • ECAD is a grouping of software tools
    for designing electronic systems such as
    integrated circuits or printed circuit boards,
    etc.
  • Unlike CAD, ECAD is used to design the entire
    system of any component connected to another
    component by electric circuits.

  • OrCAD is basically a proprietary software tool
    suite used mainly for Electronic Design
    Automation (EDA).
  • This software is mostly used by electronic design
    engineers and electronic technicians for
    designing electronic schematics and electronic
    prints for manufacturing printed circuit boards.
  • The name OrCAD mainly reflects the company and
    its software's origins i.e. Oregon  CAD.

    Integration.
  • VLSI technology is mainly developed for making
    an Integrated Circuit (IC) by combining thousands
    of transistors into a single chip.
  • One best example of VLSI device is
    Microprocessor.
  • Before the introduction of VLSI technology,
    electronic circuits consist of CPU, ROM, RAM and
    other glue logic. But now, VLSI lets IC designers
    add all of these into one chip.

  • MATLAB mainly stands for Matrix Laboratory.
  • MATLAB is a high-performance language for
    technical computing.
  • It includes computation, visualization, and
    programming in an user-friendly environment where
    problems and solutions are expressed in common
    mathematical notation.
  • Technically, MATLAB is a multi-paradigm numerical
    computing environment and 4G programming
    language. 
  • MATLAB programs can written in any of these
    languages C, C, C, Java, Fortran and Python.

    dedicated function within a larger mechanical or
    electrical system, often with real-time
    computing constraints.
  • Embedded system can be defined as one that has
    computer hardware with software embedded in it as
    one of its most important components.

    as components of embedded systems.
