Jean-Christophe Bott is heir to the family
tradition dating back to 1795, when his ancestor,
Jean-Martin Geyl tended his vines and made his
wine. Jean-Christophe Bott has been responsible
for Domaine Bott-Geyl since 1993 and he converted
the vineyards to be organic in 2000 and then
biodynamic in 2002.

I dont know why more people dont drink
Gewurztraminer. Bright gold-tinged straw. Its
Clean, fresh, smoky aromas of peach, rose and
apricot are so juicy and fresh in the mouth,
conveying a breezy quality to the ripe tropical
fruit and floral flavours. Finishes bright and
long. Its a great wine to match spicy food.

Lovely tender and pure fruit. Pretty. Elegant.
Perfumed. With a really sweet, supple core.
Strawberry fruit and some slight earthiness. For
entry level Burgundy Pinot, this is a complete,
wonderful, and delightful bottle of old vine
Pinot Noir.

small amounts of whole clusters into tank for the
reds, as the vintage merits, adding a spicy,
herbal component which contributes to the wines
complexity, and leads to more structured wines.
Thanks to the dedication of young winemakers like
Luc Pavelot, the village has become a place for
quality, terroir driven wines that deserve equal
recognition as those of the neighbouring villages.

9-hectare domaine is situated adjacent to the
great Domaine Gauby in the village of Calce in
the Roussillon region of the Languedoc. Olivier
Pithon is orginally from a wine making family
from Anjou in the Loire and after spending some
time in Bordeaux, decided to settle in Calce in
2000 after being introduced to Gerard Gauby by
his brother, Jo, a wine maker from Layon
