1
Tips for Photographing Babies
2
How to photograph the baby from one month to 12
months old?
  • Photographing babies is largely dependent on the
age, but you will notice that you will get the
best photographs as a child grows and also you
will see how it progressed to more and better
    posing.

3
From 0-3 months besides lying, for any other
pose a must to keep the baby.
4
From 3 to 6 months the baby can independently to
keep her head, but it is still very limited
posturing.
5
From 6 to 9 months the baby is already beginning
to sit up independently. It is now able to be
installed to take pictures, but do not expect
from it to sit still long. Be prepared to take a
shot quickly, and if you have a little slower
machine, it is possible that everything you will
be able to achieve is to take a picture of the
baby on the move.
6
From 9 to 12 months the baby already
automatically boots and starts to walk but being
still uncertain it will not be so easy to take a
picture of it.
7
What moments have to be photographed?
  • Beside of all important moments, like the first
bath, walk, holidays, first steps, family
gatherings, you can take photographs of your baby
    anytime you want.

8
Babies are unpredictable, so you'll probably make
the best photos and videos when you least expect.
More specifically when the baby is in the mood.
9
Sometimes it can happen that you bring your baby
to the photographer and your baby lets you know
that she does not want to be photographed, so it
is necessary to create a pleasant atmosphere to
relax, play, sing to her, or make some other fun
stuff.
10
When you notice that the baby is relaxed, the
photographer should quickly react and make a few
shots. Baby will probably quickly notice that
something is happening, and likely to be ashamed
or cry. Professionals know how to amuse the
baby, how to make her comfortable, how to use
adequate lighting.
11
How to make the best photos of your baby?
  • A good professional photographer knows that he
can experiment with angles and perspectives, but
he will always pay attention to what is behind
the baby and what kind of background should be
used, and he will avoid too colorful background
    of bright colors.

12
Also, if these photos are taken in your home,
you certainly do not want your baby to be in a
beautiful picture with trash in the background,
clutter on the table or other things like that.
13
Photographing various "activities."
  • It can be boring to watch photos where everything
is just perfect and where your baby is posing the
way photographer wanted, so be sure while you
have your photo session, to "catch" also moments
when your baby is preoccupied with something.
This photos can be so cute, and you will have a
blast every time you see them again and again.

14
Also, photos of a baby sleeping or when she just
wake up can be so beautiful, and there is no
person who is not blown away when they see a baby
who sleeps in peace and security.
15
Finally, we should not forget that the safety of
children should always come first and never
compromise for the sake of good photos.
