  • A dentist, also known as a dental surgeon, is a
    health care practitioner who specializes in the
    diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases
    and conditions of the oral cavity. The dentist's
    supporting team aids in providing oral health
    services. The dental team includes dental
    assistants, dental hygienists, dental
    technicians, and in some states, dental
    therapists.

    filling a tooth, performing a minor surgical
    procedure such as a tooth extraction, and
    cleaning and polishing teeth. A dentist will
    encourage patients to practice good dental care
    by brushing and flossing and getting regular
    cleanings as these good habits can help prevent
    cavities and other tooth and gum diseases.

    dental care providers could become involved in
    the care of your teeth, gums, and mouth. A short

    primary care dental provider. The general dentist
    practitioners diagnoses, treats, and manages your
    overall oral health care needs, including gum
    care, crowns, veneers, bridges, root canals,
    fillings, and preventive education.

    health clinics helps promote dental health
    through organized community efforts. This dental
    clinics serve to educate the public through group
    dental care programs with the goal of preventing
    and controlling oral heal problems and dental
    diseases on a community-wide basis.

    specialist concerned with the diagnosis,
    prevention, causes, and treatment of diseases and
    injuries of the human dental pulp or the nerve of
    the tooth.

    Maxillofacial radiologist is the oral health care
    provider who specializes in the taking and
    interpretation of all types of Dental X-ray
    images and data that are used in the diagnosis

    specialty of dentistry which provides for the
    care of the medically complex dental patient
    through the integration of medicine and oral

    structures including teeth, lips, cheeks, jaws as
    well as parts of the face and neck.

    maxillofacial surgeons is the oral health care
    providers who performs many types of surgical
    procedures in and about the entire face, mouth,
    and jaw area.
  • Orthodontist An orthodontist is the dental care
    provider who specializes in diagnosis,
    prevention, interception, and treatment of
    malocclusions, or "bad bites," of the teeth and
    surrounding oral structures.
  • Pediatric Dentist or Pedodontists A pediatric
