A childs personality can be developed best
early, at home, and with the active support of
the parents. What develops next often builds upon
the base that has already been set at home. In
order to enable kids to grow up into positive,
confident, and happy human beings, we need to see
how best their personalities can be developed.

Give Children Time
Children need and deserve your time. Give kids
as much time as you can, from as early in their
lives as possible. When you give kids time, they
feel cared for, valued, loved and
protected. These positive feelings help kids
grow into contented human beings.

Give Children Responsibilities
Give kids responsibilities from a young age, and
teach them, through your actions, how to live up
to them. For example
A four-year-old can be taught to water plants,
make the bed, do a bit of dusting or lay the
table.
Teenagers can be taught to take care of younger
siblings, help a bit with the house-work, and so
on.
When given responsibilities, kids learn how to
plan and execute certain tasks.
They feel satisfied when they succeed in doing
things well and realize the importance of proper
planning and execution.

Give Children Courage
Give children the courage to be right and support
what is right, under all circumstances. They
need to know that you are there to guide them,
understand them and appreciate them. This will
fill them with positivity and inner strength.

Give Children Protection
Your children need to know that though they have
the capacity to take care of themselves, you are
also there to protect them, whenever they need
you. This knowledge strengthens the
parents-child bond and enhances the sense of
security within a child.

Give Children Right Guidance
Show your kids, through your own behavior, how
you would like them to behave. Give kids the
correct kind of education. Help kids realize
their true potential.
