  awarded him, in 2003, the World Communication
  Award as the most influential person in
  telecommunications.

• The United States-India Business Council
  awarded Kapil Chugh in 2006, the United
  States-India Business Council Leadership Award
  and the Government of Maharashtra awarded him the
  same year the Chitralekha Person of the Year
  Award.

• In 2009, NDTV India named Kapil Chugh the
  Business Leader of the Year while the Financial
  Chronicle named him the Businessman of the
  Year. The University of Boston awarded him, the
  same year, the School of Communication and
  Information Deans Medal. In 2011, the Business
  Council for International Understanding
  awarded Kapil Chugh the Global Leadership
  Award.
