What is MAT?

• Management Aptitude Test
• Started by All India Management Association(AIMA)
  in 1988 for selection of candidates for admission
  to MBA and allied courses in reputed B-schools in
  India.
• MAT is conducted four times in a year- February,
  May, September and December.
• Over 600 B-schools participate in MAT exam.

MAT eligibility

• Candidates should be Indian citizen only.
• Candidates should be passed the graduation degree
  from any recognized university with any stream.
• The candidates should be scored minimum 45 marks
  in graduation (40 marks for reserved category)
• The candidates should have English as a subject
  in graduation. Candidates appearing the last year
  of qualifying exam may also appear the
  examination.
• Age Qualification for MAT
• There is no age limit for a person to write the
  MAT exam. The aspirants must not be less than 21
  years when they apply.

How to Apply for MAT

• Application fee
• The candidates may have to pay as Rs.1200/-
  through Net Banking for the application form.
• How to Apply
• Register online at website link that is
  http//apps.aima.in
• Then make the payment via online or through
  Demand Draft
• After this, obtain OMR Registration Form with MAT
  Bulletin/CD
• Fill the details and affix the photograph
• And submit the form via online mode
• Take the final print of the form

MAT score and validity

• MAT score is valid for one year.
• MAT score is calculated in percentile basis as
  follows
• P (Number of candidates who have scored less
  marks than you/ N) x 100
• PMAT percentile
• N Total number of candidates who have appeared
  in the exam
