  your requirements instead of just a box in
  which to live.

• Ask how the model rental apartment shown differs
  from the one you will rent.

• Take a tour on the property and make sure the
  rest of the property is also meet you criteria's
  from the parts shown to you by the leasing
  consultant.

• Drive around at night to make sure it is the type
  of environment in which you will feel comfortable
  living.

• Read the lease beasuse it is a binding document
  and repersent a long term commitment.

• Monthly rent. Ask what all included in your
  monthly rent(e.g. cable, utilities, ect.) and
  make sure to plan for any costs that are not
  included.

• Time to campus. Make the trip to campus from the
  property to see how much time the trip takes and
  whether you can walk/bike to campus.
