• Early in the 2000s, Raj took the strategic step
  towards manufacturing in Nigeria. The move took
  advantage of positive incentives granted by the
  Nigerian Government and propelled African
  Industries to become a major manufacturer of
  steel and other products using local resources.
• The group has since expanded into chemicals,
  power and most recently glass. He also drove the
  export initiatives of the group into West Africa.
