The director oversees the entire production and
is responsible for the casting, filming, set
design, costumes, lighting and sound. You will
also work with the editors to complete the final
cut of the film. The style, the pace and the
impact of a film is dictated by the director.
They oversee everything, from casting and set
design to lighting and editing.Depending on the
size of the production, the director may work
with the cinematographer to operate the camera
and shoot scenes.

Scriptwriters are the incredibly talented people
who write scripts for feature films, sitcoms,
television dramas, radio plays,cartoons, TV
adverts, West End musicals, and anything else you
can think of where adlibbing actors just wont
suffice!Creating characters, crafting dialogue
and writing an engaging plot are all part of a
scriptwriters job.Essentially, these creative
dynamos form something which acts as the skeleton
on which a director can map their creative vision.

Acting is a powerful profession by pretending to
be somebody else, actors are able to trick people
into believing that the character they are
playing is actually real..To be a successful
actor, you will need a certain amount of talent.
However, you cant rely on your gift alone. To
thrive in this cut-throat industry, you will need
to rehearse, learn your lines, rehearse and then
rehearse some more!

possible. Without skilful direction, a
well-written film with an excellent cast of
actors can fail.Everyone who plays a part in
the production of a film is important, but the
film director is (arguably) the most vital
member of the team.They work alongside each and
every member of the film production team, from
the actors and producers to the lighting
technicians and camera operators. They direct
everyone else, asking them to perform certain
tasks or act in a certain way, in order to
visualise their creative ideas on the screen.
