This time the Maharashtra Anti-Superstition Act
was being tried to be invoked against Radhe Maa
by Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti (MANS) in order
to stop her from a acquiring larger than life
halo. Avinash Patil, state president of MANS said
that the god woman was misguiding the gullible
masses through her claims to be a reincarnation
of saints and gods - a claim that her followers
and she herself has repeatedly denied. The phony
charge against Radhe Maa failed to stand in the
court of law as nothing superstitious has been
found by the police or court that could possibly
hurt religious sentiments or even considered
against the law. No wonder, this too turned out
to be a damp squib due to lack of any tangible
evidence like the dowry harassment, Dolly Bindra
