About the Addiction Research Foundation

• The Addiction Research Foundation is led by Pam
  and Steve Moore, co-founders of The Moore
  Institute, Inc., a clinical practice that is
  devoted to helping individuals and families
  affected by addiction.
• The Moore Institute are supported by research
  partner, NOVA Research Company (Silver Spring,
  Maryland). The Foundation is also supported by
  their Clinical Advisory Committee. The Committee,
  made up of experts in the field of addiction
  medicine, advises the Foundation regarding
  current and future clinical research activities.
  The Foundations legal counsel is Kim Davidson,
  JD.
• The Addiction Research Foundation seeks to
  improve treatment outcomes with the primary goal
  of improving post-treatment quality of life
  through long-term outcomes research

• What is Addiction?
• The fact or condition of being addicted to a
  particular substance or activity.
• People with addiction do not have control what
  they are doing.
• Any Addiction like cocaine, drug, heroine etc. is
  very harmful for the person who is addicted of
  this.
• What is the difference between habit and
  addiction?
• Addiction - The person is unable to control the
  aspects of the addiction without help because of
  the mental or physical conditions involved.
• Habit habit is done by choice. The person with
  the particular habit can choose to stop, and will
  consequently stop successfully if they need to.
  The psychological/physical component is not an
  issue as it is with an addiction.
• If you are the person who is addicted from any of
  the addiction and want to get rid of that
  addiction and start new life with your family.
