• India is badly smitten with terrorist activities,
  both internal and external disturbances are badly
  affecting the country's infrastructure and
  economic growth. Our neighbours are frequently
  violating the peace pact. Many a times India
  tried to attract the attention of the United
  Nations, but couldn't get a significant success
  in this regard. Not only  India failed to make an
  impact at UN in this regard, but our approach
  also seemed weak on various other platforms like
  G-20 ad BRICS. In the recently concluded BRICS
  Summit that held in India the efforts made by our
  representative couldn't get expected support from
  the other nations including Russia.

• Although India redresses the problems that the
  country is experiencing from the soil of
  Pakistan, a country which was responsible for
  various brutal terror attacks in the past is the
  base of Zaki-ur Rehman Lakhvi, the mastermind of
  26/11 Mumbai attack. This man is living freely in
  the Pakistan. In its war at fight against
  terrorism, India tried to get the favor of the
  BRICS countries under the UN Security Council
  resolution 1267. India has cited this once again
  at the BRICS Summit and demanded the handover of
  26/11 mastermind. Unfortunately, like our
  previous experiences we were unheard and ignored
  because China had already opposed it in the UN.

• UN Security Council resolution 1267 is an
  effective tool to get foreign support in fighting
  with the terrorism. Imposition 1267 means
  freezing the funds and other assets of the
  culprit, designated individuals and groups,
  restriction on the mobility of accused and
  banning the activities which include the sale and
  purchase of arms and weapons. Everyone
  understands India's problems, but no one is
  sincere enough to help India in her war against
  terrorism. Where we are lacking? The prime reason
  is that India didn't sign extradition treaty with
  various countries in the world, and this is
  really a big issue.
