Title: Web Design Trend

1
WEB DESIGN TRENDS EXPECT TO IN 2015
2
WEB DESIGN TRENDS
  • Every year, Web design grows and so many awesome
    things are being published daily.
  •  can only imagine that the best is yet to come in
2015, including many of the trends we predicted
    for 2014.
  •
  • While many of those trends will still be around
in 2015 (and probably 2016), its time to see
what new trends are likely to emerge in 2015.
  •
  • While everyone is reflecting on the year that was
and looking ahead to the year that will be, lets
take a look at some Web design trends we will
likely see when we turn the calendar to 2015.

3
HUGE BACK GROUND IMAGES
  •  Front-end developer Benjamin Hallways expects
more massive background images in 2015, "used
alongside rich typography and subtle parallax
effects", largely due to the lead taken by
massive brands such as Apple and Google Nexus.
  • In 2014, the biggest web design trends included
grid layouts, flat design, background videos, and
the increasing capabilities of HTML5 APIs.

4
 CARD-BASED DESIGN
  • Creative director Heraldry thorefsson says
card-based design will be big "Content needs to
fit on different types and sizes of screen, and
cards are the easiest way to make that work
    across platforms.
  • He adds this presents a design challenge, since
cards can be dull, "but we're seeing fun, clever
takes on this from companies like Google".

5
DIGITAL-FRIST BRANDING
  • Clear left founder Andy Budd (clearleft.com) says
"as more companies realize their customers'
primary experience with them is online, we'll see
    more digital-first-approaches to branding".
  • He predicts companies "ditching traditional
branding agencies who treat the web with the same
care as a branded mug", instead "commissioning
digital agencies to conceive a brand that works
first online before filtering down to other
    channels."

6
OPEN DATA
  • Sally Jenkinson says open data's been on the
rise, but many digital spaces remain "more closed
than ever" and so "leaders such as The Open Data
Institute are working to promote more openness".
She reckons this will gain public awareness in
2015, and projects will respond accordingly, in
    terms of publishing and consumption.

RESPONSIVE DESIGN EVOLVED
  • Designer Victor Ericson (minimalt.se) expects the
industry to "continue maintaining simple and
minimal aesthetics," with the web "becoming fully
    customized for different viewports".
  • But others see responsive design going further.
Jonathan Smiley thinks we'll see "responsive
design practices become more important in native
apps," in part through a proliferation of wear
able. "Apple Watch, for example, relies on a
responsive-like flow to accommodate a small
screen, and so while 2015 isn't the year the web
and native become the same, it'll get us much
    closer."

DESIGNING OR SOLVING PROBLEM
  • Great designers always have an absolute ability
to not only point out problems but also give
    solutions for them.
  • Generally design projects starts with business
problems, so your designer must know what is not
working at your company and what should be the
solution to make it work well.
  • Designer must be updated about problems and
solutions while designing project. By making
awesome designs does not mean that it will
generate bunch or leads and your business will
going to get a good change.
  • And when this will not happen, you will blame
your designer though it is not his fault at all.
He gave you the design as you demanded to him.
