About us

• The Nature Connections program is designed to
  provide all children, regardless of age, a
  positive outdoor experience.
• The goal of No Child Left Inside is to provide
  an experience so powerful that it creates a
  lasting impression and as a result they will
  continue to explore and enjoy the outdoors during
  their lifetime.
• Located less than an hours drive from Detroit in
  Southeastern Michigan, the scenic Huron River
  offers paddlers a chance to view nature at its
  best.

Get Your Kids out

• Bring your children, ages 3 8 years old, to
  Heavners Kids Club every Tuesday from 10 a.m.
  12 p.m. for some outdoor play, education,
  exploration, and adventure!
• Canoeing, Kayaking, Hikes, Bonfires, Crafts,
  Nature Photography, Games, Scavenger Hunt,
  Live Music, Swimming, Fishing, Picnics, Visits to
  a Farm, Nature Center, and Zoo, and a Beach
  Party!
