And Running For The Cure In Jefferson Events In
May
2Scott Luker is a highly acknowledged person who
has founded Jefferson Challenger League. The
Milton United Methodist Church hosted a Mother's
Day Brunch in the month of May, 2014. Luker told
that it was scheduled to coordinate with the No
One Fights Alone 5K run, which supported the
DeVries Family.
3The event supported the Christian Outreach
Project Mission Team 2014 of the Milton United
Methodist Church. Once in a week, the team used
to send teens and adults to their homes across
Sussex and Morris to provide home maintenance to
those in a need. The tickets could be purchased
at the door and their costs for seniors were 8,
adults 10, and for children under 12, it was 5.
4Scott Luker told that the Milton United Methodist
Church is situated at 316 Dover Milton Road in
Oak Ridge. People who want further details about
the race No One Fights Alone 5K can contact

Challenger League particularly to provide
children with special needs a multitude of sports

donated 2 smart boards to a school where
physically challenged students study.
5In the month of May, Luker also organized a
Running For The Cure in Jefferson event where
individuals from all age groups had gathered to
run or walk in the honor of Tom DeVries. The
participants were greeted with applause, cheers,
and high fives. The coaches Tom DeVries and Scott
Luker of Challenger League boasted their Melanoma
Warrior shirts along with their wives Jen and
Judy. A runner Elizabeth Malzone of Jefferson
Township sports received the top rank for 5K run
for Tom DeVries.
6Both Luker and Tom DeVries kept on motivating and
inspiring participants to do better in the event.
Luker is well known for organizing such types of
