Kuala Lumpur - 10 Things You Need to See
  • Kuala Lumpur is a wonderful city with much to see
    and do. If you are not a local of singapore-expres
    sbus.com, it can be hard to decide what to see
    and do. This is a brief run-through of the 10
    things I think you should see in Kuala Lumpur.
    This is suggested as an overview of those people
    who are not acquainted with this excellent city.
  • 1. Petronas Twin Towers
  • The Petronas Twin Towers dominate the sky scape
    in Kuala Lumpur. They are magnificent pieces of
    architecture which tower over the rest of Kuala
    Lumpur and are presently the 2nd tallest
    structures worldwide, and the tallest twin towers
    worldwide. They were integrateded 1998 and have
    88 floors and reach 452 meters into the sky. The
    towers were prepared through an 8 sided star
    which in Islam symbolises fullness and
    regeneration.
  • There is a seeing deck on the twin towers, the
    sky bridge which signs up with the 21st floors of
    both towers, 150 meters above ground. If you are
    planning to do this, make sure to get your
    tickets early to avoid long waits of
    dissatisfaction.
  • 2. China Town
  • China Town in Kuala Lumpur is an unique location
    with a great environment and market. The market
    is held on a street, however is now cleverly
    covered to prevent rain from disrupting the
    marketplace.
  • In China Town you can get everything from quality
    hand crafted produce to fake clothes. Every major
    fashion residence is represented in China Town by
    fake fruit and vegetables. If you are preparing
    to buy something right here on your see, and you
    will, be prepared to haggle if your life depended
    on it. The individuals right here are excellent
    natured, however they will try to offer you
    anything they can as if their life depended on
    it.
  • 3. Suria Shopping Center
  • The Suria Shopping mall at the foot of the
    Petronas twin towers is a shopping mall aimed at
    the more affluent amongst us. Here you can buy
    designer fashion goods from all the leading
    designers. The Suria Shopping Center is not cheap
    and is primarily focuseded on Arabs who visit
    Kuala Lumpur during August to get away the heat
    of their own countries.
  • The Shopping Center is connected by the LRT
    (Light Rail Transportation) which can take you
    directly to Sentral Station. Even if you do not
    prepare on buying anything right here, don't miss
    this phenomenon.
  • 4. Merdeka Square
  • Merdeka Square, understood as Self-reliance
    Square was previously the Selangor Club field on
    which cricket was played by expatriates,
    typically from Britain. The Club is now available
    to anybody who can pay for subscription. The
    square is called Self-reliance Square because on
    31 August 1957 the Malaysian flag was raised
    right here for the first time. Today, the
    Malaysian flag flies from the tallest flag pole
    on the planet, 100 meters.
  • Merdeka Square is a place of appeal, with the
    immaculately kept Square together with the
    Selangor Club which is developed in real British
    Tudor design and the gorgeous Abdul Samad
    Building which dates to 1897 and now serves as a
    Government Building
  • 5. Bukit Bintang
  • Bukit Bintang is the main street of Kuala Lumpur.
    This is a street that never sleeps and constantly
    takes pleasure in a fast lane of life. This is a
    terrific location to find a cafà to unwind your
    shopping weary body, prior to you head back in
    for more shopping.
  • Bukit Bintang is the home of numerous shopping
    mall, hotels and dining establishments. Amzingly
    Bukit Bintang is house to 30,000 shops, many
    which are in the shopping mall that have entries
    from the Bukit Bintang.
  • 6. Lake Gardens (Taman Tasik Perdana).
  • The Lake Gardens in coach to kl from singapore is
    a green belt that covers over 90 hectares of
    land. Originally constructed around an artificial
    lake, the yards are now a significant center
    piece in Kuala Lumpur and provide many kinds of
    gardens including an Orchid Garden, a Hibiscus
    Garden, The Butterfly Park, a Bird Park and a lot
    more.
  • 7. Batu Caves.
